On May 11, 2024, Durham, North Carolina, was the scene of two tragic shootings occurring within minutes of each other. At approximately 11:12 a.m., police responded to a disturbance near the intersection of Southwest Durham Drive and Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered 32-year-old Jennifer Faith Eno in a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Shortly thereafter, around 11:20 a.m., an off-duty Durham police officer heard gunshots in the parking lot of a business located in the 3700 block of Mount Moriah Road. The officer found 31-year-old Scott Edward Snyder Jr. with a gunshot wound. Snyder was also taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation led to the arrest of 32-year-old Brandon Julius Eno, who was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with both shootings. Records indicate that Jennifer and Brandon Eno were married in 2011. During a court appearance, it was revealed that Brandon Eno is the father of a 12-year-old child and has longstanding ties to the area. He is currently being held in the Durham County Jail without bond, with his next court date scheduled for June 4.
