Brandon Griffin, a 41-year-old resident of Oakland, California, was tragically killed on August 22, 2021. The incident occurred early in the morning on an East Oakland sidewalk, specifically in the 1900 block of Foothill Boulevard near San Antonio Park. Griffin was attending a street memorial for another homicide victim when he was approached by an unknown assailant and shot multiple times.
