Pavanpal Singh Paintal, a 34-year-old resident of Roseville, California, tragically lost his life on August 26, 2021, in Citrus Heights. On that evening, multiple 911 calls reported a shooting near the intersection of Lichen Drive and Carmelwood Drive. Responding officers found Paintal lying in the roadway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by officers and medics, Paintal succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a local hospital.
