Jose Luis Hernandez Laureano, a 30-year-old resident of Bakersfield, California, tragically lost his life on November 17, 2021. The incident occurred on Latham Street in east Bakersfield, where Hernandez Laureano was found lying in the street, bleeding from a gunshot wound. According to court documents, as he lay dying, he pointed to his estranged girlfriend, Cony Alvarado-Romero, and said, "Ella me disparo" (she shot me).
