Jordan Amon Farmer, a 25-year-old resident of Spring Valley, California, was tragically shot to death on December 10, 2021. The incident occurred inside his apartment located in the 8900 block of Delrose Avenue. According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to a report of a shooting around 11 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Farmer with a gunshot wound to his torso.
Despite life-saving measures provided by the deputies and later by fire department personnel, Farmer was pronounced dead at the scene. The San Diego County Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and confirmed that the cause of death was a gunshot wound, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.
The investigation into Farmer's death led to the identification and arrest of three suspects. Jazmin Holdren, 25, Didesisi Franklin, 27, and Andre L. Ford, 29, were all charged with Farmer's murder. Franklin was the first to be apprehended on December 17, 2021, at the Rancho San Diego Station. Holdren was arrested on December 30, 2021, and booked into Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility. Ford, who was already in federal custody at the Metropolitan Correction Center in San Diego, was charged with Farmer's murder on January 11, 2022, and subsequently booked into San Diego Central Jail.
The arrests marked significant progress in the case, but the investigation continued as authorities sought to uncover the full circumstances surrounding the murder. The San Diego County Sheriff's Homicide Unit urged anyone with additional information to come forward, emphasizing the importance of community assistance in solving such cases. The case highlighted the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to address violent crimes and bring justice to victims and their families.
