Basel Jilani, a 20-year-old resident of Lafayette, California, tragically lost his life on March 23, 2022, in a fatal shooting incident. The incident occurred in broad daylight on Taylor Boulevard, near the border of Lafayette and Pleasant Hill. Witnesses reported seeing two black cars speeding down the street, with one car cutting off the other.
