Greg Smith, aged 52, tragically lost his life on July 4, 2022, in Irvine, California. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Irvine police received a 911 text at 2:19 a.m. from a witness who reported hearing an argument followed by gunshots. The witness, who was another roommate, locked himself in his bedroom and continued to communicate with dispatchers. Upon arrival, police found Greg Smith deceased behind the front door of the residence.
