On August 22, 2022, Brandell Baker, a 30-year-old resident of Richmond, California, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. at the intersection of 5th Street and Macdonald Avenue. According to Richmond police, more than 40 rounds were fired during the attack, which also left a 65-year-old man, Joey Alcutt, critically injured.
