On March 24, 2023, Lorelei King, aged 41, and Leo Raymond King, aged 63, both from Sutton, West Virginia, lost their lives in an incident that authorities are investigating as an alleged murder-suicide.

When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they found both Lorelei King and Leo Raymond King shot and in critical condition. Despite the efforts to save them, both individuals succumbed to their injuries.
