The suspect, described as a light-skinned man with a shaved or bald head, fled the scene westbound on E Street towards Interstate 5.
In December 2022, Chula Vista police named Angel Bojorquez as a person of interest in the case. Bojorquez, believed to be in his early to mid-20s, was linked to the shooting through witness statements and vehicle descriptions. He was known to have ties to Tijuana, Chula Vista, and San Diego. Despite efforts to locate him, Bojorquez remained at large, and the police continued to seek public assistance in apprehending him.
The investigation into Villaseñor's death has been ongoing, with authorities urging anyone with information to come forward.
