Tyrell Clifford Sutherland, aged 29, was shot and killed in New Orleans, Louisiana, on December 22, 2014. Tyrell was a former Orleans Parish Prison (OPP) deputy, a role that had placed him in proximity to law enforcement and the complexities of managing incarcerated individuals.
