Daniel Scutaro, a 25-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, met a tragic end on June 5, 1980. His death was a result of a brutal murder orchestrated by members of the infamous DeMeo crew, a group of mobsters associated with the Gambino crime family. Scutaro, along with his colleague Charles Mongitore, worked at a Brooklyn auto body shop.
