On September 22, 1980, 14-year-old Glenn Dunn was tragically shot and killed outside a supermarket in Buffalo, New York. Dunn was sitting in a vehicle when a man carrying a gun concealed in a paper bag approached and opened fire. This incident marked the beginning of a series of racially motivated attacks that would terrorize both upstate New York and New York City. Within the next 36 hours, three more individuals were murdered in similar fashion: Harold Green, Emmanuel Thomas, and Joseph McCoy.
