Emmanuel Thomas, aged 30, was tragically murdered on the night of September 23, 1980, in Buffalo, New York. He was walking along a street on Buffalo's East Side when a man approached him and fired two shots at his head, killing him instantly. This brutal act was part of a series of racially motivated killings that terrorized the black community in Buffalo during that period.
