Investigator Robert Van Hall, aged 35, tragically lost his life on December 5, 1980, in Albany, NY. He was a dedicated member of the New York State Police, serving in the Troop E Narco Squad. On that fateful day, Investigator Van Hall and his partner were in the process of arresting two brothers, Joseph and Larry Comfort, for trafficking cocaine and marijuana.
