Rita Faulk's tragic death on February 24, 1989, in the Bronx, New York, was a result of a violent crime that shocked the community. On that fateful night, Rita Faulk, along with two other women, was kidnapped and taken to an apartment on W. 195th St. in Kingsbridge. The perpetrators, three armed men, were in search of drugs and money, believing that one of the women's sons was involved in drug activities.
