Auxiliary Police Officer Nicholas Todd Pekearo, aged 28, tragically lost his life on March 14, 2007, in Manhattan, New York. Pekearo, along with his fellow officer Yevgeniy Marshalik, was on foot patrol in Greenwich Village when they responded to a radio call about a shooting at a local pizza shop.
