In a tragic and brutal act of violence, 19-year-old Naim Holt of Buffalo, New York, was killed on November 22, 2014. On that day, Holt and 20-year-old Dominique Harris were outside a residence at 261 Langfield in Buffalo when they were confronted by an armed individual. The assailant, identified as Bobby Price III, brandished a handgun and ordered both Holt and Harris to their knees before shooting each of them in the head in an execution-style slaying.
The investigation into the double
homicide was carried out by the Buffalo Police Homicide Detectives. Their work led to the identification and arrest of Bobby Price III, who was 19 years old at the time of the offense. The motive for the killings remains unclear, according to prosecutors. The case against Price moved through the justice system, culminating in a guilty plea.
In June 2016, Bobby Price III pleaded guilty to two counts of Murder in the First Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree before State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller. Following his plea, on July 22, 2016, Price was sentenced to a term of 20 years to life in prison for the murders of Naim Holt and Dominique Harris.
