On March 6, 2015, Song Shim, a 41-year-old resident of Queens, NY, was found dead in her apartment on Beech Avenue in Flushing. The discovery was made by her elderly mother, who arrived at the apartment to find her daughter and her daughter's boyfriend, both with fatal gunshot wounds to the head.
