In the early morning hours of April 28, 2016, the life of 25-year-old Carlos Alberto Vargas was tragically cut short in his Bronx apartment. A father of two young girls, he was fatally shot in the face during a botched robbery. The incident unfolded around 4:15 a.m. inside a second-floor apartment at 2466 Marion Avenue in the Fordham neighborhood.
