Michael Bush, aged 51, was fatally shot in New Orleans, Louisiana, on January 12, 2016. The incident unfolded in the 2700 block of Washington Avenue, where Bush was one of two victims of shootings that occurred in quick succession that evening. Law enforcement identified Earl Simmons, a 31-year-old man, as the individual responsible for both fatalities.
