On a summer night in Queens, New York, a gathering of friends turned tragic, leading to the untimely death of 24-year-old Rufino Perez Villa on June 12, 2016. The group had been drinking and engaging in playful fighting in a basement apartment on National Street in the Corona neighborhood. During this, Christian Penaloza, 29, introduced a shotgun into their activities.
