On June 28, 2016, Juan Medina, a 28-year-old resident of Monticello, NY, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The incident occurred at a residence on Park Avenue in Monticello, where Medina was found deceased in the doorway. Witnesses reported seeing a Hispanic male approach Medina and fire multiple gunshots at him as he stood outside the multi-residence building.
