Binjeem Russell, a 33-year-old resident of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, was tragically shot and killed on July 20, 2016. The incident occurred near Herbert Von King Park, at the intersection of Greene Avenue and Tompkins Avenue, around 1:30 a.m. According to reports, Russell was exercising in the park when he was approached by a group of men.
