Akeem Booker, a 28-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on May 1, 2017. The incident occurred on Rockaway Parkway near Avenue N in the Canarsie neighborhood. Booker was shot in the chest during a confrontation that escalated into violence.
