Derek Cosme, a 15-year-old from Glen Cove, NY, tragically died on August 2, 2017, in what has been described as an accidental shooting. Derek was at a friend's house on Williams Street when the incident occurred. He was with two other friends, and they somehow gained access to a loaded pistol.
