Jerrel Lewis, a 20-year-old resident of Queens, NY, tragically lost his life on December 2, 2017. The incident occurred in broad daylight near the Ravenswood Houses in Long Island City. According to police reports, officers responded to a 911 call about an assault at approximately 4:00 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Lewis unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his torso.
