Nicholas Talerico, a 27-year-old resident of Utica, New York, tragically lost his life on May 28, 2019. The circumstances surrounding his death were both shocking and tragic. Nicholas was involved in a home invasion in Deerfield, New York, along with his aunt, Patricia Anne Talerico. During the attempted burglary, the homeowner, Ronald Stolarczyk, confronted the intruders and, fearing for his life, used an illegally owned handgun to shoot both Nicholas and Patricia.
