Roderick Haslip, a 58-year-old resident of Niagara Falls, NY, was tragically shot and killed on July 27, 2019. The incident occurred early in the morning when Niagara Falls Police officers, responding to an unrelated call, heard gunshots and quickly arrived at the scene. They found Haslip in a white van on Centre Avenue near 10th Street, bleeding from a gunshot wound to his leg. Despite the efforts of first responders, Haslip succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
