On a crisp autumn evening in 2019, the quiet suburban streets of Amherst, a suburb of Buffalo, New York, were shattered by the sound of gunfire. On October 24th, 31-year-old James Booker III was fatally shot on Springville Avenue. The incident prompted numerous calls to 911, and Amherst Police arrived at the scene to find Booker deceased.
