On February 18, 2020, Mohammed Qutaish, a 20-year-old deli worker, was tragically shot and killed while working at a bodega located at 3700 White Plains Road in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx, New York. The incident occurred around 11:17 AM when police responded to a 911 call reporting a person shot inside the deli. Upon arrival, officers found Qutaish with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was immediately transported to Montefiore Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
