On a Friday evening in New Orleans, the life of 19-year-old Kareem Harris was tragically cut short in a burst of violence that spilled into the iconic Dooky Chase's Restaurant. Harris, a student at Livingston Collegiate Academy, was being chased by a gunman. Already wounded, he sought refuge inside the well-known establishment, a place where he had once been an employee.
