In a tragic end to what appeared to be a loving, two-decade-long marriage, 50-year-old Olga Ortiz was killed by her husband in a murder-suicide on June 22, 2020. The couple’s 21-year-old son discovered their bodies in their basement apartment on the Upper West Side of New York, NY, after he was unable to get inside.

Police were called to the residence at 320 West 87th Street and found both Olga Ortiz and her 72-year-old husband, Jose Tito Ortiz, with fatal gunshot wounds. A firearm was ...
