Stephon Johnson, a 23-year-old resident of Manhattan, New York, tragically lost his life on July 5, 2020. The incident occurred during a block party on West 116th Street near Morningside Avenue. Johnson was shot in the lower back and attempted to flee the scene but collapsed a few blocks away on Manhattan Avenue near West 118th Street.
