On a summer evening in the Bronx, 29-year-old Anthony Robinson was walking hand-in-hand with his six-year-old daughter. As they crossed East 170th Street and Sheridan Avenue on July 5, 2020, a car pulled alongside them, and a passenger opened fire. Robinson was struck in the chest and later pronounced dead at BronxCare Health System. His young daughter, who was just inches away, was not physically harmed but was left with the traumatic memory of the event.
