In the early morning hours of July 24, 2020, the quiet of a Uniondale, New York neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to a call of possible shots fired on Tulip Court at approximately 4:45 a.m., Nassau County police officers arrived to a grim scene. Inside a home, they discovered 73-year-old Joseph Rosembert, a male resident of the community, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
