Opal Long, a 23-year-old resident of Santa Clarita, California, tragically lost her life on January 15, 1952. Her death was a result of a brutal murder that shocked the local community. Opal was found lying on her bed, with her legs protruding from under a sheet. The scene was discovered by Detective Sergeant F.M. Rosenberg, who was one of the first responders to the crime scene.
