Amy Suzanne Birnkrant, a 47-year-old resident of Santa Clarita, California, tragically lost her life on January 5, 2018. The incident was a devastating murder-suicide that shocked the local community. Amy, along with her daughter Drew, 20, and son Sean, 11, were found dead in their home. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department identified Amy's husband, Michael Birnkrant, as the perpetrator.
