In the late summer of 2017, a young man's life was tragically cut short on a street in Uniondale, New York. Miguel Hernandez, an 18-year-old male, was with a group of friends on Maplegrove Avenue on the evening of September 15th when violence erupted. Two individuals on bicycles approached the group and opened fire, striking Hernandez. A senior at Uniondale High School, he was fatally wounded in the sudden attack.
