Miguel Hernandez, an 18-year-old from Uniondale, NY, tragically lost his life on September 15, 2017. Hernandez, a senior at Uniondale High School, was hanging out with friends on Maplegrove Avenue when two suspects on bicycles approached and opened fire. The incident occurred around 11:59 p.m., and Hernandez was found lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Nassau University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after midnight.
