Elbert Wright, a 28-year-old resident of Massapequa, was tragically shot to death on the evening of July 31, 2020, in North Amityville, New York. The incident occurred on Somerset Road North, where police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting following an altercation. Upon arrival, officers found Wright with a fatal gunshot wound.
