In the spring of 2015, the community of the Greater St. Mary Baptist Church in Algiers, Louisiana, witnessed the final moments of their beloved pastor, Kenneth Green, Sr. On Sunday, May 3rd, while delivering a sermon from the pulpit, a place he held dear, Pastor Green was suddenly called to his eternal rest. A native of Algiers and a resident of LaPlace, he was a man deeply rooted in his faith and community.
