In the late summer of 2016, a young man's life was cut tragically short on the streets of New Orleans. Anthony Michael “Cecil” Sorapuru, a 22-year-old male, was fatally shot on Thursday, August 25, 2016. Known for his big heart and skill as a mechanic, Anthony was a beloved son, brother, and fiancé.

On that day, Anthony was found in New Orleans East suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to University Hospital, but his injuries proved to be too severe, and he succumbed ...
