On a late summer evening in Haverstraw, New York, the life of 23-year-old Andy Urena-Marrero was tragically cut short. On September 4, 2020, at approximately 9:09 p.m., Marrero was in the backyard of his Hudson Avenue home when he was shot in the head. Despite the immediate response from Haverstraw town police and emergency services and being rushed to Westchester Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries.
