Bashawn Williams, a 39-year-old resident of Elmira, NY, tragically lost his life on February 7, 2021, as a result of a shooting incident. The Elmira Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the area of West Sixth Street and Johnson Street around 1:13 A.M. Upon arrival, officers found two men with gunshot wounds outside a residence. One of the men, later identified as Bashawn Williams, was unresponsive and subsequently pronounced dead at the hospital.
