On a tragic Saturday afternoon in Staten Island, New York, the life of 26-year-old Latiff Dudley was cut short. On February 20, 2021, Dudley, a Black male, was found with a fatal gunshot wound to his torso inside his car on Laurel Avenue, near Warren Street in the Clifton neighborhood. In a desperate attempt to flee his assailant, he drove away from the scene but ultimately crashed his vehicle into a parked van at the corner of Van Duzer and Beach Streets in Stapleton.
