In the Corn Hill neighborhood of Rochester, New York, a tragedy unfolded on June 18, 2021, that claimed the life of 31-year-old Genuine U. Ridgeway. The young mother had just returned home from a vigil for her boyfriend, who had been killed just two days prior. As she pulled her vehicle into the parking lot of her apartment complex, another car followed, and two individuals emerged, unleashing a barrage of gunfire into her car.
