In the late hours of a Monday in New Orleans, the life of 30-year-old Kharen Chapman was tragically cut short. On November 21, 2016, in the streets of the city he called home, Chapman, a male, was fatally wounded in a shooting that authorities would later classify as a homicide. The incident unfolded around midnight, beginning in the 3200 block of Palmyra Street and concluding in the 300 block of South Jefferson Davis Parkway.
