Robert Smith, age 38, was killed on December 26, 2016, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Smith was shot outside a home in the 7900 block of Lamb Street in New Orleans East. The incident occurred early in the morning, the day after Christmas, around 7:30 a.m. Smith was identified as the brother of former NFL player Courtney Smith.
