In the early morning hours of December 19, 2025, the life of 21-year-old William Charles Jr. was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in New Orleans. The New Orleans Police Department responded to a call of a shooting at approximately 3:15 a.m. in the 1500 block of Southlawn Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered Charles suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response from New Orleans EMS, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
