In the summer of 2016, the life of 36-year-old Koma Davis was cut short by an act of violence in the Hollygrove neighborhood of New Orleans. On the evening of Saturday, July 9, 2016, Davis was the victim of a fatal drive-by shooting. The incident prompted an investigation by the New Orleans Police Department, who responded to the scene to piece together the events that led to the deadly encounter.
